In this Order—

  • “the deposited plan” means the plan numbered HA10/2—/N225 marked “The A1 Trunk Road (Brownieside De-Trunking) Order 1991”, signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY ;

  • “the new trunk road” means the new trunk road to be constructed by the Secretary of State in pursuance of the A1 Trunk Road (Brownieside Improvement) Order 1991 ; and

  • “the trunk road” means the London-Edinburgh-Thurso Trunk Road (A1).
