For the purpose of connecting the trunk road with other highways, so as to effect junctions at the places stated in the Schedule to this Order, the Secretary of State is authorised to construct along the routes described in the said Schedule, new highways. Those new highways shall become trunk roads as from the date when this Order comes into force.
