# The A120 Trunk Road (Stansted to Marks Tey) Order 2005, Article 2


In this Order—
(1) all measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway;
(2) (i) “the main road” means the length of highway described in Schedule 1 to this Order;
(ii) “the plan” means the plan numbered HA10/MP/019 marked “The A120 Trunk Road (Stansted to Marks Tey) Order 2005”, signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport and deposited at ODPM-DfT Records Management Branch, Floor 13 (IMD), Ashdown House, St Leonards on Sea, Hastings, East Sussex TN37 7GA;
(iii) “the link road, slip roads and roundabouts” means the lengths of highways described in Schedule 2 to this Order which connect the main road with other highways at the places stated in that Schedule; and
(iv) “the new link roads and slip roads” means the new highways which the Secretary of State proposes to construct along the routes described in Schedule 3 to this Order which connect the main road with other highways at the places stated in that Schedule.
