Schedule THE LENGTH OF HIGHWAY BECOMING A TRUNK ROAD

The length of highway becoming a trunk road is part of the A22 Purley Road at Purley in the London Borough of Croydon. The trunking starts from a point at the centre of the northern traffic island of the Purley Cross junction (opposite the boundary between 4 to 8 and 10 Brighton Road), proceeds in a south-easterly direction around the junction for a distance of about 170 metres, and ends at a point on the southern traffic island of the junction (opposite the Electricity Substation at the rear of 1 Banstead Road). The measurement of distance in this Schedule is measured along the route of the length of highway described above.
