The length of the trunk road ceasing to be a trunk road is situated at Bobbing near Sittingbourne, starting at a point on the A249 Trunk Road 820 metres north east of its junction with Key Street and proceeding eastwards to, and including, a new roundabout south of Bobbing Primary School, and is shown by broad black dashes on the plan numbered HA10/PS/232 marked “The A249 Trunk Road (Bobbing Junction) (Detrunking) Order 2000” signed by authority of the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions and deposited at the Highways Agency, St. Christopher House, London SE1 0TA.
