Article 2

In this Order—

(i)

“the A2 Trunk Road” means the London—Dover Trunk Road (A2);

(ii)

“the A282 Trunk Road” means the Dartford Tunnel Southern Approach Road (A282);

(iii)

“the new trunk roads” means the slip roads;

(iv)

“the slip roads” means the new highways which the Secretary of State proposes to construct along the routes described in the Schedule to this Order and which connect the A2 Trunk Road with the A282 Trunk Road at Junction 2 of the M25 motorway; and

(v)

“the plan” means the site plan contained in the plan folio numbered HA 10/OD/482, marked “The A2/A282 Trunk Roads (M25 Junction 2 Improvement) Slip Roads Order 2004”, signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport and deposited at ODPM-DfT, Records Management Branch, Floor 13, (IMD), Ashdown House, St Leonards on Sea, Hastings, East Sussex TN37 7GA.
