# The A3 Trunk Road (Hindhead) Detrunking Order 2006, Article 3


(i) The lengths of the trunk road described in Schedule 1 to this Order and shown by broad black dashes on the Site Plan, shall cease to be a trunk road from the date on which the Secretary of State notifies the County Councils of Surrey and Hampshire that the new trunk road and the slip roads are open to traffic; and
(ii) The lengths of the trunk road described in Schedule 2 to this Order and shown by broad black dashes on the Site Plan, shall cease to be a trunk road and be classified as a classified roads from the date on which the Secretary of State notifies the County Councils of Surrey and Hampshire that the trunk road as proposed to be improved and the new trunk road and the slip roads are open to traffic.
