The routes of the slip roads are as follows:

Junctions with the A4185 Newbury Road and Hagbourne Hill at Chilton

A route to connect the A4185 Newbury Road with the northbound carriageway of the trunk road (the slip road along this route being given the number 1 on the plan).

A route to connect the southbound carriageway of the trunk road with Hagbourne Hill (the slip road along this route being given the number 2 on the plan).
