# The A43 Trunk Road (Silverstone Bypass) (Detrunking) Order 1993, Article 2


In this Order:
(a) all measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highways and are approximate only;
(b) (i) “the deposited plan” means the plan numbered HA10/EM81 marked “The A43 Trunk Road (Silverstone Bypass) (Detrunking) Order 1993”, signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY;
(ii) “the new trunk roads” means the highways to be constructed by the Secretary of State in pursuance of the A43 Trunk Road (Silverstone Bypass and Slip Roads) Order 1993;
(iii) “the A43 Trunk Road” means the A43 Oxford—Northampton—Stamford—Market Deeping Trunk Road.
