It is situated in the District of Newcastle-under-Lyme, in the County of Staffordshire and starts from the western boundary of the A34 Congleton Road/Newcastle Road Junction (starting point marked “A” on the plan), continuing in a westerly direction and terminating at the county boundary between Cheshire and Staffordshire (marked “B” on the plan). It is shown by broad black dashes on the plan and is approximately 0.91 kilometres in length.",
