# The A57 Link Roads Development Consent Order 2022, Article 22: Compulsory acquisition of land

Extent: E+W+S

(1) The undertaker may acquire compulsorily so much of the Order land as is required for the authorised development, or to facilitate it, or is incidental to it.
(2) This article is subject to paragraph (2) of article 25 (compulsory acquisition of rights and restrictive covenants) and paragraph (9) of article 31 (temporary use of land for carrying out the authorised development).
