The length of the trunk road ceasing to be a trunk road is situated between the junction with the A52 Trunk Road, at Tollerton roundabout, south of Nottingham (marked “A” on the plan) and the junction with the A46 Trunk Road at Widmerpool (marked “B” on the plan), all in the District of Rushcliffe, in the County of Nottinghamshire. It is shown by broad black dashes on the plan and is approximately 9km in length.
