# The A646 Trunk Road (Halifax-M65) (Detrunking) Order 2003, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 1st April 2004
The Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by sections 10 and 12 of the Highways Act 1980 and now vested in him , and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf:
