# The Abortion (Amendment) Regulations 2008, Regulation 2: Amendment of regulation 5 of the Abortion Regulations


In regulation 5 of the Abortion Regulations 1991, for sub-paragraph (ii) of paragraph (a) substitute—
“(ii) to the National Statistician duly appointed under section 5 of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007 or an employee of the Statistics Board (established under section 1 of that Act) authorised by the National Statistician”.
