# The Abortion (Amendment) Regulations 2022, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament at 3.30 p.m. on 14th July 2022
Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(2) and (3)
The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 182 and 183 of the Health and Care Act 2022.
