# The Abortion (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2021, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before the Scottish Parliament 9th December 2021
Coming into force 1st May 2022
The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(1)(b) of the Abortion Act 1967 and all other powers enabling them to do so.
