# The Abuse Redress Rules 2026, Rule 10: Determination of application


(1) The determination of an application for redress under section 3 of the Measure and the reasons for the determination must be notified by the redress body in writing to the applicant’s lawyer or, if the applicant does not have a lawyer, to the applicant (even if notification has already been given orally).
(2) The written notification under paragraph (1) must include an explanation of the right of appeal under section 16 of the Measure.
