# The Abuse Redress Rules 2026, Rule 13: Determination of amount of redress payment


(1) To determine the amount of a redress payment on an application under section 3 of the Measure, the redress body must take the steps set out in the Schedule (so far as they are applicable).
(2) In the Schedule, “the assessment framework” means the document referred to in section 29 (7) of the Measure.
(3) In a case where the applicant is not the person who suffered the abuse to which the application relates, the references in the Schedule to the applicant are to be read as references to the person who suffered the abuse.
