Rule 8 Withdrawal of application

An applicant for redress under section 3 of the Measure may withdraw the application by giving written notice to the redress body.

The redress body, having received a notice under paragraph (1), must inform any person who would, if an award of redress had been made, have been capable of being an appropriate authority.

An application for redress under section 3 of the Measure may be made in relation to abuse to which an application withdrawn under this rule related.
