# The Additional Support for Learning (Appropriate Agencies) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2010, Note: Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order specifies that The Skills Development (Scotland) Co. Limited is an “appropriate agency” for the purpose of section 23 of the Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 2004 and removes that specification from Scottish Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise, which no longer carry out relevant functions.
