  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThese Regulations amend the Adoption Agencies Regulations 1983 (“the 1983 Regulations”) and apply to England only.\nRegulation 2 amends regulation 5A of the 1983 Regulations to provide that an adoption agency may extend the term of office of a member of an adoption panel whose term of office is his second consecutive term of office and is due to expire on or after 31st October 2003 for a further period of two years.",
