# The Adoption Agencies Regulations 1983, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 30th December 1983
Laid before Parliament 13th January 1984
Coming into Operation 27th May 1984
The Secretary of State for Social Services in relation to England and the Secretary of State for Wales in relation to Wales, in exercise of their powers under section 32 of the Adoption Act 1958 and section 4(1) of the Children Act 1975, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following regulations:—
