# The Adoption Agencies (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2020, Regulation 18: Transitional provision


In a case where an adoption agency has started to assess the suitability of a prospective adopter in accordance with Part 4 of the Principal Regulations, prior to the coming into force of these Regulations, the adoption agency must continue that assessment as if these Regulations had not been made.
