Article 4 Amendments to the Adoption Rules 1984

In rule 3—

(a)

in paragraph (1) omit “27th May 1984” and substitute “1st June 2003”; and

(b)

after paragraph (3) insert—

“(3A)

In any proceedings concerning an adoption in accordance with the Convention relating to Adoption concluded at the Hague on 15th November 1965, the Adoption Rules 1984 in force immediately before 1st June 2003 shall continue to apply, with any necessary modifications, to proceedings in the High Court.”.
