  "text": "In Schedule 1 (enactments conferring functions assigned to social services committee)—\n(a) the entry relating to the Adoption Act 1976 is omitted,\n(b) in the entry relating to the Children Act 1989, after “Consent to application for residence order in respect of child in care” there is inserted “ Functions relating to special guardianship orders ”,\n(c) in the entry relating to the Adoption (Intercountry Aspects) Act 1999—\n(i) in the first column, for “Section” there is substituted “ Sections 1 and ”,\n(ii) in the second column, for “Article 9(a) to (c) of” there is substituted “ regulations made under section 1 giving effect to ” and at the end there is inserted “ and functions under Article 9(a) to (c) of the Convention ”,\nand at the end of the Schedule there is inserted—\n“\nAdoption and Children Act 2002\nMaintenance of Adoption Service; functions of local authority as adoption agency.\n”",
