# Adoption and Children Act 2002, Paragraph 21: The Child Abduction Act 1984 (c. 37)

Paragraph 43 of Schedule 3 does not affect the Schedule to the Child Abduction Act 1984 in its application to a child who is the subject of—
(a) an order under section 18 of the Adoption Act 1976 freeing the child for adoption,
(b) a pending application for such an order, or
(c) a pending application for an order under section 12 of that Act.
