Article 2 Appointed day

30th April 2001 is the day appointed for the coming into force of section 9 (adoption service to include intercountry adoptions etc.) of the Act and section 14 (restriction on bringing children into the United Kingdom for adoption) of the Act, in so far as each section amends the Adoption Act 1976^f1.
