  "text": "(1) It shall be the duty of the following authorities to enforce the relevant provisions—\n(a) in Great Britain, a local weights and measures authority; and\n(b) in Northern Ireland, the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment.\n(2) The Secretary of State may enforce the relevant provisions.\n(3) In this Schedule—\n“enforcement authority” means any person who is, pursuant to the provisions of this paragraph, authorised to enforce the relevant provisions; and\n“local weights and measures authority” has the meaning given by section 69 of the Weights and Measures Act 1985 .",
