# The Adventure Activities (Licensing) (Designation) Order 2007

Coming into force 1st April 2007
The Secretary of State, acting in relation to England and Scotland, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1(1) of the Activity Centres (Young Persons’ Safety) Act 1995, following a nomination under section 1(2) of that Act by the Health and Safety Commission, and having consulted the Scottish Ministers in accordance with section 88(2) of the Scotland Act 1998,
and
the National Assembly for Wales, acting in relation to Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by section 1(1) of the Activity Centres (Young Persons’ Safety) Act 1995 and now vested in it, and following a nomination under section 1(2) of that Act by the Health and Safety Commission,
make the following Order:

## 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Adventure Activities (Licensing) (Designation) Order 2007 and comes into force on 1st April 2007.

## 2 Designation

The Health and Safety Executive (being a person nominated by the Health and Safety Commission under section 1(2) of the Activity Centres (Young Persons’ Safety) Act 1995) is designated for the purposes of section 1(1) of that Act.

## 3 Revocation

The Adventure Activities (Licensing) (Designation) Order 1996 is revoked.
