# The Adventure Activities Licensing Regulations 1996, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 26th March 1996
Coming into force 16th April 1996
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1(1), (3) and (4), 2(1) and (3) and 3(2) of the Activity Centres (Young Persons' Safety) Act 1995 after consultation with the Health and Safety Commission in accordance with section 3(3) of that Act hereby makes the following Regulations:—
