  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend the provisions of the Advice and Assistance (Scotland) Regulations 1987 by bringing up to date a reference in them to the Criminal Legal Aid (Scotland) (Fees) Regulations 1987 (S.I. 1987/365), which are amended by the Criminal Legal Aid (Scotland) (Fees) Amendment (No. 2) Regulations 1987. The effect is to increase certain of the fees for assistance by way of representation in line with increases made in the fees for criminal legal aid.",
