Immediately after paragraph 5 thereof (restrictions on payment of grant) there shall be inserted the following paragraph:—

“5A

The appropriate Minister shall not pay grant under paragraph 3(1) in relation to any expenditure incurred in replacing apple orchards or pear orchards to the extent that such expenditure was incurred before 8th November 1982.”
