# The Agriculture Improvement (Variation) Scheme 1988, Section 2: Saving


Paragraph 4 of this Scheme shall not apply in relation to any claim for grant towards expenditure incurred for the purposes of the Agriculture Improvement Scheme 1985 (“the principal Scheme”) before 5th August 1988, and this Scheme shall not affect the operation of the principal Scheme in relation to any such claim for grant.
