# The Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) (Amendment) Regulations 1996, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 1st January 1997
The Secretary of State for Transport in exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 52(1) and 118(6) of the Air Navigation (No. 2) Order 1995 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf hereby makes the following Regulations:
