# The Air Navigation Order 2016, Paragraph 13: Additional equipment for single pilot operations under Instrument Flight Rules – helicopters and gyroplanes


Helicopters and gyroplanes operated under Instrument Flight Rules with a single pilot must be equipped with an autopilot with at least altitude hold and heading mode.
