# The Air Navigation (Overseas Territories) Order 2013, Article 148: Prohibition of use of psychoactive substances


A person must not act as an air traffic controller or student air traffic controller whilst under the influence of any psychoactive substance, or any medication, which renders that person unable to safely perform their duties or makes that person a risk to the safety of another person.
