  "heading": "Appropriating sites of roads and footpaths",
  "text": "After a road, bridleway or footpath or portion thereof is diverted or stopped up as mentioned in section 11 (Stopping up and diversion of highways, etc.) of this Act, the Corporation may, as far as the said road, bridleway or footpath or portion thereof is bounded on both sides by lands of the Corporation, appropriate without making any payment therefor and use for the purposes of their undertaking the site thereof.",
