# The Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings Order 2008, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 3rd November 2008
Coming into force in accordance with article 1
The Lord Chancellor, after consulting the Lord Chief Justice, makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 92(9) and (10) and 94(10) of, and Part 1 of Schedule 11 to, the Children Act 1989, and sections 57 and 65(2) of the Family Law Act 1996.
