  "text": "In these Regulations—\n“the Act” means the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000;\n“the directive” means Directive 2011/61/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 8 June 2011 on Alternative Investment Fund Managers ;\n“the FCA” means the Financial Conduct Authority;\n“the PRA” means the Prudential Regulation Authority;\n“the principal regulations” means the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Regulations 2013 ;\n“the Regulated Activities Order” means the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) Order 2001 ;\n“rule” means a rule made by the FCA or the PRA under the Act.",
