# Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Areas Act 1979, Paragraph 6


The Secretary of State may make the order, either without modifications or with such modification only as consists in reducing the area affected, at any time after the end of the period of six weeks beginning with the date on which notice of his proposal to make the order is first published in accordance with paragraph 3(2)(a) above.
