# The Animal Gatherings (Interim Measures) (England) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2002, Note: Explanatory note


(This note does not form part of the Order)
This Order amends the Animal Gatherings (Interim Measures) (England) Order 2002 (S.I. 2002/202 as amended by S.I. 2002/1328).
The Order—
(a) Restricts the categories of animals to which the Order applies so as to include only cattle (excluding bison and yak),deer, goats, sheep and swine.
(b) Defines the terms “equipment” for the purposes of the Order and amends the references to “pens, hurdles and other equipment” accordingly.
(c) Reduces the 28 day restricted periods to 27 days.
A regulatory impact assessment has not been prepared for this Order.
