# The Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 Amendment Regulations 2012, Paragraph 12


Unless authorised by the Secretary of State, there shall be no variation of the use of the approved areas of the establishment in the licence that may have adverse consequences for the welfare of the protected animals held.
