# The Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act (Amendment) Regulations 1993, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 1st October 1993
In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972, I, being a Minister designated for the purposes of that section in relation to measures relating to the protection of animals used for experimental and other scientific purposes, hereby make the following Regulations:
