Cape Evans is a small, triangular shaped, ice free area in the south west of Ross Island, 10 km to the south of Cape Royds and 22 km to the north of Hut Point Peninsula on Ross Island. The designated Area is located on the north western coast of Cape Evans adjacent to Home Beach and is centred on Scott’s ‘Terra Nova’ Hut.
