# The Antique Firearms Regulations 2021, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 22nd March 2021
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 58(2B)(b), (2C), (2D)(b) and (2F) of the Firearms Act 1968.
In accordance with section 58(2G) of that Act, a draft of these Regulations has been laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
