# The Appointed Person (Designs) Rules 2015, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 6th April 2015
The Secretary of State in exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Registered Designs Act 1949 and section 250 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 makes the following Rules.
