# The Apprenticeship Certificate (England) Regulations 2016, Introduction: Introductory text

The Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections A3 and 262(3) of the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009.
