# The Arable Area Payments (Amendment) Regulations 1998, Regulation 2: Interpretation

Extent: E+W+S

(1) In these Regulations, the “principal Regulations” means the Arable Area Payments Regulations 1996.
(2) In regulation 3(2) to (8) below, any reference to a numbered regulation or Schedule is a reference to the regulation or Schedule in the principal Regulations so numbered.
