# The Arable Area Payments Regulations 1995, Paragraph 23: Application of fungicides, insecticides and herbicides to the set-aside land


A farmer shall not apply fungicides or insecticides to the set-aside land unless he satisfies the Minister that he should be exempted from this requirement because the application is necessary in order to control plant health problems which cannot be remedied by any other reasonable means.
