# The Architects Act 1997 (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, Regulation 2: Interpretation

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

In these Regulations—
“the 1997 Act” means the Architects Act 1997 ;
“the 2015 Regulations” means the European Union (Recognition of Professional Qualifications) Regulations 2015;
“the Register” means the Register of Architects maintained under section 3 of the 1997 Act;
“the relevant date” means the date on which these Regulations come into force.
